The Museum’s Endowment, The Fund for The Carle.

A strong endowment is essential for The Carle to secure its mission and position as the premier national resource for the art of the picture book and its impact on art appreciation and literacy. The Fund for The Carle will also allow the Museum to fulfill the vision of Eric and Barbara Carle into the future while maintaining its independence and fiscal health.

This important fund, which will help sustain The Carle in perpetuity, was infused with a leadership gift of $1 million by an angel donor on September 11, 2007. This exceptional gift was the critical first step toward our goal of raising $5 Million in five years, and $30 Million in ten years.

Your participation in the future of The Carle is most welcome. Gifts above a certain amount may be designated to name and/or support key program areas.
