The Carle Cafe

The Carle Café offers snacks and picnicking any time the museum is open. We stock vending machines with a variety of fresh and local snacks and light lunch items. We also offer fresh fruit and a unique treat – Caterpillar Cookies with a “bite” taken out by you-know-who from our neighbor, Atkins Farm Country Market.

We also invite visitors to bring their own food, so feel free to pack a picnic lunch for your visit.

Due to limited seating, groups of 10 or more will be charged a $10 Café rental fee so that we may reserve tables for you in advance of your arrival. For reservations, please contact the Education Department at programs@carlemuseum.org or (413) 658-1141.

While we encourage visitors to picnic in our Cafe and on our grounds, we cannot accommodate non-registered groups of 10 or more for functions such as birthdays or showers. If you would like to hold your event at The Carle, facility rentals are available. Please contact our Facility Rental Manager at specialevents@carlemuseum.org.

(Please note: Oversized bags must still be checked in Museum spaces, and food and drink can only be consumed in the Café.)
