Ways to Save
The increase, the first in almost five years, helps us better meet our costs and keep pace with pricing at other museums. We understand that an increase in any cost is a disappointment. We encourage our guests to review the below suggestions for saving at The Carle, and as always appreciate their patronage.
Purchase a Membership -- Since Membership pricing will remain the same, the value of a Museum Membership increases. Memberships feature a 15% discount in the Museum Store, and we have several ongoing promotions (including a free family pass valued at $22.50) which add even more value to the Membership. With this promotion, a family membership pays for itself with only two visits per year.

Creating a Positive Museum Experience for Young Visitors
On your way to the Museum…
Let young visitors know that once at the Museum they will have the chance to look at art, talk about art, enjoy books, and make art. Encourage young visitors to look with their eyes... and remind them that touching art can damage it.
While you’re here…
Ask Front Desk and Gallery Staff for suggestions on how to plan your visit.
Take breaks... at The Carle Café, in the Reading Library, or outside.
Don’t forget to visit the Art Studio and the Reading Library... favorite areas for our youngest visitors.

Friendly Reminders
LOOK WITH YOUR EYES
Touching art or the glass that protects it can damage it.
STAY SAFE
Encourage little ones to stay close and walk, not run.
TRAVEL LIGHT
Please check large or bulky bags before entering the Galleries.
ENJOY A SNACK
Food and drink are permitted only in the Café or outdoors.
DOCUMENT YOUR VISIT
Please take pictures, but no photography in the galleries. Flash photography can damage art and much of the artwork is copyright-protected.
CONSIDER OTHERS
