Closed on Mondays * and Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

* Open Mondays during MA school vacation weeks (February and April) and during the months of July and August.

The Carle will close at 4:00 pm on May 25, 26, and June 1, 2013 due to private events.

The Carle will be closed on Monday, August 5, 2013 due to a conference.

Adult admission $9
Youth (under 18), Student, Teacher and Senior Admission $6
Family Admission (2 adults and 2 youth) $22.50

Free parking for cars and buses is available at the Museum.

    Borrow a pass!
    Many local libraries have an organizational membership which offers a transferable day pass for families. Ask your local library or other organization. If they don’t have one, please ask them to obtain one.

Creating a Positive Museum Experience for Young Visitors
On your way to the Museum…
Let young visitors know that once at the Museum they will have the chance to look at art, talk about art, enjoy books, and make art. Encourage young visitors to look with their eyes... and remind them that touching art can damage it.

While you’re here…
Ask Front Desk and Gallery Staff for suggestions on how to plan your visit.
Take breaks... in the Reading Library, or outside.
Don’t forget to visit the Art Studio and the Reading Library... favorite areas for our youngest visitors.

Please check large or bulky bags before entering the Galleries.

Please take pictures, but no photography in the galleries. Flash photography can damage art and much of the artwork is copyright-protected.

CONSIDER OTHERS
Turn off cell phones and other beeping devices before entering the Galleries.
