The Carle Bookshop Recommends: Siobhan's Holiday Wishlist

1. Harry Potter Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling, illustrated by Jim Kay
This new edition of one of my favorite series is definitely on my list for the holidays. You still get the same text but it now comes with gorgeous new illustrations.  It's perfect for younger readers who are reading Harry Potter for the first time or for Harry Potter fans who would like to add this to their collection! $39.99

2. Alice in Wonderland Mug
This is such a cute mug and it's perfect for coffee anyone who loves coffee, tea or books. I love that inside it says, "It's always tea time," from Alice in Wonderland.  $12.95

5. Fine Line Color Gel Pens
I love gel pens and these are great because they're fine and in fun colors. They're also perfect to give to someone with an adult coloring book. Why use boring pens when you can have these fun ones?! $8.95

4. The Bear Report by Thyra Heder
The Bear Report is a book about a girl, Sophie, who is writing a report for school on polar bears. She is soon whisked off to the Arctic to see what polar bears are really like. It's a charming and creative story about learning and imagination. The watercolor illustrations are beautiful and will have you in awe of the Arctic like Sophie. It's one of my favorite books of 2015 and perfect winter read! $17.95

5. Uni Doll
So adorable! She's perfect for unicorn lovers and is a perfect present to go with the book Uni the Unicorn by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, illustrated by Brigette Barrager. $18.95 (book is $17.99)

Happy Holidays!
