Take a Virtual Tour of The Carle

The Carle is a beautiful 40,000 square foot contemporary building set in an old apple orchard in Amherst in Western Massachusetts. The Museum neighbors Hampshire College and looks out on the Holyoke Mountain Range.

Tour The Barbara Elleman Research Library and its collection of scholarly works to learn more about illustrated children’s literature.
