The Buckland Public Library will soon be opening its doors to a renovated and expanded facility. Our light-filled children's area, which overlooks a hayfield, a hillside, and a farmhouse where Mary Lyon once taught would be a lovely place for this lithograph. Thanks for your generosity! I have 4 year old b/g twins. Both are HUGE Eric Carle fans. We recently went to see The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other Eric Carle favorites by the Mermaid Theatre of Novia Scotia when they came to our area. What a wonderful show! They were so excited and my son was disappointed to hear that Mr. Carle was not going to be there. This would be a special edition to our collection of Eric Carle books and look wonderful framed in their room!

Eric Carle is 'the' favorite author in our preschool! His illustrations just capture that elusive quality of simplicity and realism.
