MISTER G Concert and Book Release!

September 7, 2019
11:00am
$10 (Members $9)

Ben Gundersheimer (MISTER G) is a Latin GRAMMY Award-winning artist, author, activist, and educator. Hailed as “a bilingual rock star” by the Washington Post, he tours internationally, playing everywhere from Lollapalooza and Lincoln Center to climate change rallies on Capitol Hill. His spirited bilingual performances aim to help children see each other across borders and foster cross-cultural connections.

MISTER G will sing songs from his 11th album, Beyond Borders, and debut his first picture book, Señorita Mariposa - a captivating look at the extraordinary annual migration of monarch butterflies from Canada to Mexico. Featuring artwork by Mexican illustrator, Marcos Almada Rivero, this dual-language picture book aims to spark dialogue and help children learn about climate change and immigration issues.

Following the performance MISTER G will be signing copies of Señorita Mariposa, available for purchase in The Carle Bookshop.
