One Hundred (and One!) Posts!

Hey! We just realized we've shared 100 posts since we started this blog last June. To celebrate, I'd like to share some a small percentage of the many beautiful things made in the Studio since then . These images represent ideas, problems solved and not-yet-solved, imagination, experimentation, conversations shared, and yet more work which wasn't kept by the creator but was still worthy of creation nonetheless. Make Your Own Stamp Pads

Whenever we do stamping projects in the studio we use stamp pads we've made ourselves. Homemade stamp pads are less expensive than store-bought and allow us to customize their size and the type of pigment we use in them. READ MORE

Make Your Own Foam Stamp

Printmaking is a fun, open-ended process for image-making. Stamping is a kinesthetically satisfying and approachable form of printmaking, so it's a great fit for many of our projects in the Art Studio and at home. In one of our Every Day Art Projects, we offered our guests at The Carle a chance to make their own stamp. You can easily make stamps like we do in the Art Studio
