The Museum offers modern elegance in a natural setting. It is perfect for weddings and receptions, business meetings, and special gatherings.
Wedding and Museum Rentals
Host your wedding at The Carle, with a reception in the light-filled Great Hall and a ceremony in our courtyard.
The Carle is able to accommodate up to 150 guests for weddings, receptions, and other large-seated events. For standing receptions, the Museum can comfortably fit up to 300 guests.
All private events must take place outside of regular Museum hours, generally starting at 6pm.
Spaces available include an expansive Great Hall, a courtyard, a café and full-sized professional kitchen, an auditorium that seats 135, and three galleries featuring some of the world’s finest picture book art.
All weddings are considered 5-hour full museum rentals. For pricing, please see below our Rental Price List.
Other Rental Options
The Carle’s contemporary, light-filled rental spaces can be adapted to suit a variety of needs.
The Café and auditorium are available for business meetings and other gatherings.
These spaces can be available during or after museum hours depending on the event.
Café Rentals can accommodate up to 50 and Auditorium Rentals can accommodate around 135.
