Four Cozy Picture Books to Share

While some may be itching for Spring and the end of long cold and snowy days here in New England, I?m still quite content to be curled up inside with a good book while watching the snowflakes fly and temperatures drop outside. Whether you?re like me and are enjoying the winter or are in need of a good distraction for you and your little ones until the weather gets nice, here is a short list of my favorite cozy picture books. It's Snow Much Fun!

If you like snow, New England is the place to be this February! We're on snow storm #3 for the month and the piles are getting higher and higher. I thought you might all like a peek at our Red Elephant sculpture by Mo Willems in our courtyard. Any more snow and we might not be able to see him anymore!

It's winter in New England, but where's all our snow? I like looking at these snowy picture books to put me in a winter-y mood, even when outside my window there's not a flake on the ground. With cold weather upon us and last minute holiday gifts on my crafting agenda, my mind is on one of my favorite winter pasttimes -- knitting!
