The Best Art Project Ever with Guest Artist Huck Scarry

Huck was visiting the United States from his home in Austria and was at The Museum to demonstrate how to draw all his favorite Busytown characters, including Lowly Worm and Huckle Cat on the big back wall in The Art Studio. As you can see in the photo below, we had the room full of eager participants following Huck step by step. READ MORE

Dots Galore

Last weekend marked one of our favorite annual holidays celebrating creativity (it holds a close tie with Very Hungry Caterpillar Day on March 20th). International Dot Day is every mid-September and is inspired by the picture book The Dot

Collaging on Sticky Surfaces

On a recent Sunday, one of our favorite artists, Keri Smith joined us to help host a masterfully-messy event in The Studio, appropriately called, Mess: Art Made by Accident. Throughout the Studio we had open-ended projects designed with Keri that involved randomness and chance, including Collaging on Sticky Surfaces, Funky Drawing, Hot Glue Sculptures and Painting with Drips and Spills.
